EQ-5D-5L | Interview versions

Developed for use with participants who are able to understand the questionnaire and respond appropriately but are unable, for whatever reason, to read the questionnaire or to write their responses. Reasons could for example include illiteracy, physical or sensory incapacity or an inability to attend the study site.

Below you will find the current interview versions. Please click on the links below to view per mode the available translations:

• EQ-5D-5L Interview Administered version
  Developed for use either in face-to-face or telephone/computer interviews when participants are either unable to read or write or unable to be physically present for the interview. May be used interchangeably with existing Telephone and Face-to-face versions.

• EQ-5D-5L Face-to-face interview version
  Developed for use when participants are able to be physically present during the interview but are unable to read or write.

• EQ-5D-5L Telephone interview version
  Developed for use when participants are unable to be physically present during the interview but have access to a telephone.
